Welcome back! Angular is a web framework developed by Google, if you’re new to Angular, check out the link below to learn more about it:

So, let’s take a look at a few reasons why you should use Angular anymore!

Heavy Framework

One of the biggest disadvantages of Angular is the size of this framework, it’s a bigger framework compared to others (Vue and React). Although there are a ton of features with Angular, there can be some speed issues as well when developing smaller applications. If you want to learn more about this, I would recommend checking out this article below:

Difficulty of Learning

Another reason why someone may not want to use Angular is the difficulty of learning it, I’ve personally seen many engineers be turned off by great technology due to the barrier of entry. In fact, when I typed in angular complaints, almost every single complaint mentioned the difficulty of learning this framework, this could be a deal breaker especially if you’re wanting to expand a team with Angular. Although there are tons of tutorials for this framework, it still is a pretty large framework to deal with.

Performance

Another popular complaint about Angular is the performance of this framework, from what i’ve heard, because this framework is being tailored towards newer devices / technologies, this can cause some issues with legacy devices. If you’re web application revolves around the speed of your application, you may want to look at a different web framework. If you want to learn more about this, check out this article below:
