Installation

Now let’s take a look at an example, in this specific case, we’ll be constructing a scene (via their GitHub):

class SquareToCircle(Scene):
    def construct(self):
        circle = Circle()
        square = Square()
        square.flip(RIGHT)
        square.rotate(-3 * TAU / 8)
        circle.set_fill(PINK, opacity=0.5)

        self.play(Create(square))
        self.play(Transform(square, circle))
        self.play(FadeOut(square))

At this point, we want to save this file as example.py, then we can run the following command:

manim -p -ql example.py SquareToCircle
