This is what Google uses Machine Learning for

Welcome back! Machine learning is one of those terms that seems to be thrown around all of the time, so it’s always interesting to me how big companies utilize ML (Machine Learning) in their projects. In this case, let’s take a look at a few different ways that Google uses ML in their products. Now, the way I found these different projects was by going to their career page, looking at relevant positions, and seeing which projects were related to ML:

Cloud Development

A massive division within Google is their cloud division, this specific division utilizes ML like crazy, there are tons of positions related around ML specifically for their cloud products. Although “cloud” is a broad term, there are several products under their cloud division, a big portion of this are their Google Translate, Google Map and Google Cloud products, these products use ML quite a bit.
