Welcome back! Google is a massive company that employs tons of software engineers, so let’s see what Google uses for their software engineering teams. Now, the process of me finding this information was fairly basic, I went to their career page, searched for software engineering positions, and noted the most frequent languages, packages and tools I saw them use:

The Languages

Starting off, let’s take a look at some of the languages that Google uses for software engineering, from what I personally saw, Google uses pretty much every programming language ever created 😂.

C / C++

Google uses C and C++ for almost every single software engineering position I saw. For those of you who don’t know, C and C++ are very popular languages use for software engineering, there are tons of pieces of software that have been built with these languages.
