Welcome back! Data Science is one of my favorite career paths of all time, and if you’re wanting to learn about Data Science, you’ve came to the right place! Now, i’m going to cover Data Science in a very high level, I won’t go into crazy detail about the coding aspect, machine learning, more-so, the power that Data Science has, as well as some resources to learn Data Science. Starting off, every company may have a different understanding of Data Science, there are some data scientists who visualize data, there are some who design databases, and there are some who develop machine learning models.

Because of this, it’s best for a data scientists to have a good understanding in database development, data analytics, machine learning, and overall good programming skills as well. But, we’re getting to far ahead of ourselves, let’s take it a step back.

Why Even Learn Data Science?

In my opinion, Data Science is one of the best careers out there, to add to this, it seems like this career path is only becoming more and more lucrative/popular. In fact, Glass Door estimates that the average salary for a data scientist is $117,212, and trust me, that’s almost the starting point for alot of these postiions:

To add to this, Data Science only seems to be growing, with all of the newer trends starting to come up like machine learning (which has been around for a while), artificial intelligence, and even in the crypto, NFT, and meta verse space, there is a spot for Data Scientists in those emerging markets. So, why should you learn data science? It’s a very important skillset for the future in my opinion.

What Do I Need To Know?

So, this is the more complicated question, every data scientist is different, like I mentioned before, there are data scientists who develop machine learning models, and there are data scientists who don’t even code…
