Things I wish I did when I became a data scientist

Welcome back! I’ve been working as a data scientist for a few years now, and although I am definitely very early in my career (and have a lot to learn) there are still a few things I wish I did earlier on in my career. With that being said, here are a few things I would recommend you to do if you’re starting your data science journey.

Blog

In my opinion, when I think back to things I wish I did earlier, the first thing I thought about was blogging. For the past year I’ve been obsessed with blogging, it’s so much fun and I’ve been learning a ton from writing, and I honestly wish I started earlier (even when I began college). I’m not too sure why I started later, but after publishing hundreds of articles I can definitely tell you there are people who are interested in hearing what you have to say, so, I would highly recommend you to start publishing some articles!
