These are the biggest Java cheat sheets

Welcome back! I’ve been talking about some of the best cheat sheets for different programming languages, now let’s talk about the best cheat sheets for Java! I want to say a very important thing though: cheat sheets are great ways brush up your knowledge but it’s not a great way to learn a language, I would still recommend taking tutorials to learn these languages. With that out of the way, lets get into it!

Princetons Cheat Sheet

Starting off lets take a look at Princetons Java cheat sheet, if you want to access this check out the link below:

This cheat sheet definitely has a ton of value inside of it, it starts off by showcasing the standard “Hello World” example, then get’s into the process in which the code is ran:

It then goes into the different data types, I will say that this sheet goes into alot more detail than other sheets i’ve seen:

The sheet then goes into the standard functions (if-else statements, for loops, while loops, do-while loops, etc.). Out of most of the sheets that i’ve seen, this one definitely has the most details for sure.

Hackr Cheat Sheet

Next up we have the Hackr.io cheat sheet for Java, if you want to access this sheet check out the link below:

Similar to the previous sheet, this one goes into the basics of Java, we start off by understanding the different data types, as well as different IDE’s that Java can be ran in:

It then goes into the standard functions within Java again (if-else statements, switches, the different loops, etc.)

I like this specific sheet because it shows the actual code blocks, making it very easy to understand Java!

Programming With Mosh Java Sheet

Lastly we have this Java cheat sheet from Programming With Mosh, check out the sheet down below:

This sheet goes into a good amount of detail, much like the other cheat sheets, it goes into details of the basics of Java:

It then goes into variable declaration, operators, if statements, switch statements and loops:

This sheet is definitely one to take a look at! There you have it, these are a few of the most popular cheat sheets available for Java. If you have any other sheets you’ve seen please let me know, I can always make an updated list with newer additions.
