The Programming Language You Shouldn’t Learn
Welcome back! Programming is an awesome skillset to have nowadays, so, let’s take a look at some programming languages that you shouldn’t learn!
Objective-C
Next up we have Objective-C, this one may not come as a surprise to many of you, let’s take a look at how popular Objective-C used to be:
It used to be one of the most popular programming languages a few years ago, but now, not so much. One of the reasons for this is because Apple has pushed out their newer programing language Swift, this essentially will make Objective-C even more irrelevant. So, if you’re planning on learning Objective-C, I would probably recommend learning Swift instead:
Perl
Next up we have Perl, a general-purpose language that was fairly popular years ago, nowadays it’s definitely not as popular as before, check out the TIOBE index chart below:
