Should you do a Masters?
Welcome back! Since writing tons of these articles in a few months I wanted to hit on another extremely popular question I see all over Reddit / other forums, the question is: “Should I do a Masters?”. In my opinion, a Masters can only help, no matter what field, career or era you are in inside of your life, a Masters is always a good idea. On the flip side, a Masters isn’t an easy thing to accomplish, it does take up a lot of time, and if you don’t get a scholarship or reimbursement from your job it can also be an expensive investment. So as you can tell, this question isn’t an easy question to answer, it really depends (in my opinion) on this little question right here:
Where are you at in your life?
I want you to answer that question through a career stand point. By answering this question you will pretty much categorize yourself in a couple different brackets, 1: Just graduated, 2: Early career , 3: Mid career, 4: Late career, let’s break down each category.
