Welcome back! Python and Java are very popular programming languages that a lot of people use, but how do they compare in 2022? Let’s go ahead and find out! First of all, there are pro’s and con’s for both of these languages, so let’s take a look at some of the pro’s of using Java!
Popularity
One of the best things about learning Java is the popularity, compared to other languages (like Python) it may not be as popular anymore, but this language has been out for a very long time, because of this, there have been many projects that have been “grandfathered” in to using this language. In my opinion, this language is still a very popular programming language right now (even if less people are using it).
Versatility
Java has a lot of capability up its sleeve, although it may not be the most functional programming language anymore, it still has a lot of capably for sure. With Java, you can build desktop applications, mobile apps, web applications, and so much more!
Free
Much like many other programming languages now, Java is a completely free programming languages to learn, on top of this, there are tons of IDE’s you can use for this language as well, making it a very cost effective language for sure!
