Programming languages every software engineer should know

Welcome back! As some of you may know, software engineering is an awesome field that’s very rewarding, so let’s talk about some of the programming languages you should know about if you plan on becoming a software engineer. Now, every company uses a different tech stack, but these are some of the most popular languages for software engineering positions. With this long introduction out of the way, let’s take a look!

Python

This is one of the most popular languages right now, this language can be used for software engineering or data science. First off, I saw this language as a requirement in a ton of different positions for software engineering, so if you plan on becoming a software engineer, learning Python will allow you to apply to a ton of jobs. On top of this, Python isn’t extremely hard to learn, it’s still hard to become an expert (just like any other language) but it’s still a very solid language to know.
