Welcome back! Python is an awesome programming language that I love, if you’re new to Python, check out the link below to learn more about it:

Now it’s time for another PSA, I truly do believe that no one should be using Python 2 anymore, it really doesn’t make any sense to me. As of right now, I still see some Python 2 projects being developed, but there is a discrepancy here, there are many projects that have been “grandfathered” in with Python 2, meaning, some older projects have never been updated to the Python 3 syntax, and there has never been a better time to start doing that then now. From Python’s official website, we can see that Python has officially been unsupported for many years now:

See for yourself in the link below:

Because of this, it makes absolutely no sense to use this version of Python due to it’s security vulnerabilities and instability. To add to this, we’ve recently seen that Apple has stopped using Python 2 as it’s native Python version, I wrote an article about this as well:

Because of this, it makes even less sense to use this version of Python. Without a doubt, if you’re planning on using any version of Python, please avoid using Python 2, it makes absolutely no sense to use Python 2 in my opinion, do you agree with me? I would love to hear your thoughts about this!

As Always
