Notepad++ just got a massive update!

Welcome back! Notepad++ is an awesome software that is essentially a feature-full text editor, I use this software pretty much everyday and now there is a new version of Notepad++, Notepad++ v8.0! Let’s go ahead and break down some of the highlights of this specific update!

Dark Mode

Notepad++ now supports dark mode officially! This is definitely one of the most sought after features for Notepad++ since its inception. Dark mode on Notepad++ essentially will convert your current light section of your editor to a darker color, essentially making it a bit easier on your eyes (for some people). You still have the ability to keep it as your standard color, but I personally prefer the newer dark mode for sure.

Distraction Free Mode

Notepad++ now has a distraction free mode, this is essentially a focus mode specifically for your editor. This specific mode will essentially put your editor in full screen mode, it will also remove alot of the elements allowing you to focus on your code itself, this is an awesome feature and i’m super happy they implemented this in as well!

Bug Fixes

There have also been a ton of bug fixes, this is probably the one area where v8 of their software really shines. I will link the entire change-log below so…
