Jobs you should apply for if you know Python
Welcome back! Python is a very popular programming language used by tons of companies, so let’s take a look at some of the most common jobs you could apply for if you know Python. Now, there maybe more positions available than the ones that are listed, but I’ve found that these specific positions require Python knowledge more often than some other positions. With that long introduction out of the way, let’s take a look at them!
Data Scientist
This is pretty much my current position, and I love it! Data Science is a growing industry which may mean different things to each company. From what i’ve seen if you’re able to handle big data, clean data, deploy machine learning models and tune those models you should have a good foundation at becoming a Data Scientist. For almost all of the Data Science work i’ve done i’ve primarily used Python (R is the other language I would sometimes use), so if you know Python I would highly suggesting brushing up the other Data Science skills and apply! Glassdoor estimates that the average Data Science salary is around $113,000 a year!
