Can’t get a coding job? Try this!

Welcome back! Coding is one of my favorite things to do (well, sometimes it is 😂), but what happens when you can’t get a coding job? Well, here are some things I would highly recommend doing when you can’t get that coding job that you want.

Keep applying

This is a huge point made by many people, and it’s quite a simple concept: the more jobs you apply to, the higher of a chance you have of getting a job. In my personal experience, between my jobs I had probably applied to hundreds of jobs, from them I get tens of interviews and from those interviews i’ll get a few offers. The most important thing you can do between positions is to keep applying, by doing this you increase your chances of landing an interview.

Keep sharpening your skillset

One of the best things you can do when waiting between jobs is to develop more skills. This can be anything from learning a new language, creating some new projects or even brushing up on your soft skills…
