Buying Inflated Apps/Websites

Another common income stream I see many developers fall into is purchasing a website or application with inflated views, what does this mean? Well, certain developers may create a website, throw a few articles into it, put some affiliate links inside of it, and artificially pump the website with views, the developer would then go around and sell that website (within a few weeks or months) and claim the inflated views are genuine, leaving the buyer left with a website with no visitors. Without a doubt, this is one of the worst income streams I’ve personally seen programmers affected by.
