Starting off, this language is completely free and open source! This is easily one of the best reasons to learn / use this language. There are several programming languages that require licenses, i’ve always found this to be a hurdle to jump over when learning a language, luckily for Julia that is not the case. This language is also open source, so you can always contribute to this language as well!
